Position is part time with potential for full time.
We also welcome candidates with any previous experience in other fields such as retail, food service, or any other customer-focused industry.
Looking for someone with the willingness to learn, constantly improving, motivated, kind hearted with an awesome personality to match.
Bilingual(Spanish) Preferred as responsibility includes often translating for doctor.
Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.
Our office is team-oriented and very fast paced.
Position requires a lot of interaction with patients and fellow team members.
Detail oriented and multitasking is essential.
All team members are cross trained.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Translating, Explaining, and Educating for doctor in Spanish.
Front desk responsibilities (answering phones, scheduling, data entry, faxing, scanning).
Frame selection/dispensing, measurement, repairs, adjustments, and orders.
Contact lens training (regular and specialty lenses) and contact lens orders.
Pretesting and Optometric testing.
Insurance verification and billing.
Reviewing patient insurance benefits with patients.
General light cleaning of the office and keeping office organized.
Educate patients about our specialty services and products that we offer.
All duties needed to keep the office running efficiently, smoothly, and growing.
Marketing and promoting the office Making our patients and team members smile
Qualifications:
Bilingual Preferred (Spanish) for translation and communications with patients Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.
FAST LEARNER and QUICK TO ADAPT Good with people Good communication skills Good problem solver Team oriented Other Details:
We are open 4 days a week.
Mon, Wed, and Fri 10 am to 6 pm.
Sat 9 am to 4 pm Being punctual with reliable transportation is important.
Must be able to work Saturdays and have flexibility in work schedule.
