Admitting Representative (PT, Variable) Monterey Park Hospital
Monterey Park Hospital is a 101-bed acute care community hospital providing our community with advanced medical and culturally sensitive healthcare services for over 50 years.
We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Admitting Representative position working at least 24 hours a week.
The shifts and days off will vary.
The Admitting Representative is responsible for greeting the patient as they arrive, registering patients into the hospital's ADT system, verifying and validating all the patient information, including medical insurance, and delivering that information to the different service units.
These tasks are performed in a variety of settings such as, ER Department, Outpatient and direct admit transfers.
The Admitting Rep will also take PBX rotations as needed.
Knowledge of patient registration process.
Knowledge of HMO's, PPO, Capitation, Medi-Cal, Medicare, Worker's Comp.
, HIPAA & EMTALA.
Excellent Customer Service skills are necessary, above-average collection skills and Bilingual English/Spanish language skills preferred.
High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
2 years experience preferred.
Heartsaver CPR & AB508 certifications must be obtained within 90 days upon employment.
Additional Information:

Proof of vaccination acceptable to the Facility is required before you may begin work.
