Direct and manage reliability standards pertaining to materials and techniques used in design and production; direct and manage research or technical design functions for electronic parts, components, and integrated circuitry; work on optical module design; use assembly technology and materials; design high speed QSFP modules for 100 Gbs applications; perform electrical and optical measurement of lasers and photodiodes using optical spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, MW spectrum analyzers, BERT, and digital sampling scopes; direct and control mechanical systems and equipment design functions; work on C product development of semiconductor and electro-optical devices and modules; design and develop high speed electro-optical transceiver modules; conduct performance evaluation of Coherent 90-degree hybrid and yield distribution analysis for engineering feedback for process control and improvements; work on product specifications of modulators and de-modulators for 40Gbs applications; work on product specification definitions for DP-QPSK coherent receivers for 40G and 100G applications; define product qualification requirements in conformance with appropriate quality standards; work on process development, failure analysis, and SPC implementation; design and analyze performance of long wavelength lasers for use in transmitter design for WDM applications; characterize high-speed optical modulators for applications in electro-optical transceivers; design and characterize micro-strip line and CPW layout for PCB for use in RF signal transmission for transceivers; characterize and analyze electrical and optical signals over frequency ranges of up to 40 GHz using vector network analyzers; perform measurement and electrical circuit analyses of S-parameters using network analyzers; perform measurements of transmitters and receivers using BER tests; and perform measurements of receiver sensitivity and measurements of eye mask margins for optical transmitters.
Job Requirements:
Master's degree or a foreign equivalent in Physics or Engineering or a related field.
3 years experience in job offered or related occupation.
Experience must include optical module design and use of assembly technology/materials; the design of high speed QSFP modules for 100 Gbs applications, and performing electrical and optical measurement of lasers and photodiodes using optical spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, MW spectrum analyzers, BERT, and digital sampling scopes.
Location of job: Monterey Park, CA.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
