Human Resources Specialist at a large, well-known financial institution's Monterey Park offices. This is a temp-to-hire position.
Job Description:
Support calls from employees via ACD call center regarding benefits and compensation, health care coverage, HR policies, Functional Knowledge of Workers Compensation & FMLA Regulatory Guidelines
Research issues regarding employee benefits, LOA, compensation and resolve general issues
Data input transaction processing of new-hires, employee maintenance and salary increases
Provides functional support for Annual Benefits Open Enrollment
Systems Knowledge of ADP Benefits & Payroll Systems, PeopleSoft 9.1 HRMS Transaction Processing Knowledge
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Imaging and preparation of employee personnel files; Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
