NETWORK AUTOMATION ENGHINEER - MONTEREY PARK - ONSITE - SECURITY, ANSIBLE, PYTHON, NETWORK, AUTOMATION - 63/HR - 80/HR The Role Oscar Technology is searching for a Network Automation Engineer for an 8 month rolling contract in Monterey Park, CA.
This position will be focused on assisting with the development and automation of the Network Security environment.
Ideal candidates will have 8
years of experience in Network Operations and evolved into ITSM processes and NMS systems integrations.
Network Automation Engineer Role Requirements NMS (Network Management Systems) system development Python, Perl, Shell C, C
Understanding of management protocols SNMP variants and Syslog.
Strong background in CURRENT network technologies LAN, WAN, FIREWALLS, MPLS, QOS, SDN, SDWAN Knowledge of SQL syntax operations (transact - SQL, pl SQL, etc.
) Strong knowledge of open source automation Redhat Ansible Support the realization of full SDN deployment, including direct involvement in the automation related to SDWAN provisioning and service turn-up Provide support for the deployment of automation in both network and security service provisioning Report development experience with current commercially available reporting solutions:
Jasper/Jaspersoft, Business Objects/Crystal Reports, BIRT/Actuate Strong knowledge of Web services technologies and their implementations (MS IIS, Apache Tomcat, etc.
