As a Build Information Modeling (BIM) Manager, you'll develop, oversee and enforce Standards & Contract language, including Design Submission Standards, on LACCD projects which utilize Building information Modeling (BIM) for all current BIM projects and all future BIM projects on the nine campuses.
This includes chairing project BIM kick-off meetings, tracking projects during Design & Construction, and overseeing BIM close-out.
The BIM Manager also oversees the VDC Coordinator's milestone BIM reviews and the asset data creation for equipment by project teams.
The BIM Manager also manages the SharePoint digital drawing vault.
Working within a strong collaborative environment, BIM Manager assures new buildings are in compliance with the LACCD BIM Standards - fulfilling the BIM objectives set forth and anticipated by the District.
The BIM Manager also assures that the District receives complete submittals, including the native electronic files used to create the submittal documents.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent.

Years of experience with Architecture or Construction Management, with a specific focus on Building Information Modeling (BIM) at a Management levelPrior experience with Contract language and Standards creation / development as related to BIMIdeally, You'll Also Have:
Experience working with Architect and Contractors alike.
GIS Systems managementLIDAR experienceAutoDesk License managementWindows Server ManagementExperience with data loaded BIM models and Cobie standards#BIA#WestPMCM.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
